A standalone system doesn’t use an existing power grid

If your location is remote, has no access to an existing power grid or you simply want to be entirely self-reliant a standalone system may be right for you. Power from the turbine is routed directly to where it's being used, or a battery backup if a surplus is being generated. When large amounts of power are required, or there's a lull in generation, electricity is automatically drawn out of the batteries to fill the need.

A generator or solar panels aren’t essential to a standalone system but they can add additional reliability.
