A Grid-Connected System fits the needs of most people

A grid-connected system takes advantage of existing electrical infrastructure reducing what needs to be installed to make wind power possible. The turbine feeds electricity into the power grid. The electricity is then distributed where it needs to go just like it came from the electric company. Throughout the course of the month if you generate more electricity than you use, instead of getting a bill you will be issued a credit!

There's no need for batteries or charge controllers in a grid-connected system. The use and production of electricity is balanced through it's connection to the existing power grid.
